What Are Alternatives To Google?
Google is the primary search engine used for Internet searches. Its market share is higher than 80% in many countries. What are the biggest rivals today? What other search engines are there to find information on the internet? We will discuss the strengths and limitations of two different search engines. Google this for an example.

Microsoft's Bing Search Engine
Microsoft's Bing is probably the most frequently-used alternative to Google. Both search engines appear similar from a visual perspective. Both search engines offer information on each result (a title, a description, and an actual link to the result). You can also find facts relevant to certain search results using the panel located on the right side of the navigation. Bing also offers vertical search engines that can be used to search for news, images, or videos. These pages may appear in the main results for searches as well as on different pages. Google is accused of displaying YouTube videos prominently in video searches. However it hasn't been an issue for Bing. Bing, like Google does, too, analyzes the user's behavior by storing information about search queries and the results they click. This allows Bing, to directly serve personalized advertising within its search results pages. Bing is also able to offer personalised ads within its Windows operating system.

Duckduckgo Search Engine
The search engine from DuckDuckGo is an alternative to Google. DuckDuckGo conducts your search automatically when you make an inquiry. DuckDuckGo receives the results from Bing and displays them in your browser. Searching through this engine won't lead you to direct contact with Bing. This means that private information such as your IP address or location is kept from Bing. DuckDuckDuckGo will also place ads on its search result pages. The US search engine doesn't collect any data from users, thus it's not able to serve personalized advertising. If you search for "holidays" and it will only return advertisements based on the phrase or keyword you searched for. It won't be able to use any other information about you since it's decided not to use it. Bing is very similar to Google, according to our view. Which one you prefer over the other comes up to individual preferences. DuckDuckGo is easier to be anonymous.
